By Car: 
The hotel/venue is right off I-90 (at the Cumberland Exit) and offers free parking.

By Air:

The hotel and venue are right down the road from O'Hare airport and offers free shuttle to and from O'Hare.  Just call the hotel to set up a shuttle trip. Public transit directions below.

While Midway airport is on the other side of the of the city you can get to the hotel via a 1.5 hour train trip through the city.  You can also rent a car and drive from Midway by taking I-55 to I-90/94.  The trip by car could take as little as 36 minutes when there is no traffic.  However during rush hour it could take upwards of 1.5 hours.

Another option is flying into Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee and driving down via I-94/294.  This trip should take about 1.5 hours as well.
 

Public Transportation - The 'L' (Train/Subway) System and CTA busses

Train fare: $2.25 - Bus fare: $2.00
Transfers between trains at locations mentioned are free
Transfters between trains and busses or at other locations are $.25 for the first and free thereafter

From Downtown: Take the Blue Line to O'Hare and get off at Cumberland

From the West Side: Take the Green or Pink Line and transfer to the Blue at Clark/Lake - Blue to O'Hare exit at Cumberland

From the North Side: Take the Red Line (or Brown Line to Red Line) to Sheridan, transfer to the #80 bus to Cumberland, Transfer to the Blue Line at Irving Park - Blue Line to O'Hare exit at Cumberland

From the South Side: Take the Green or Orange Line and transfer to the Blue at Clark/Lake - Blue to O'Hare exit at Cumberland or Take the Red Line to Jackson and transfer to the Blue Line to O'Hare exit at Cumberland

From O'Hare Airport: Take the Blue Line to Cumberland (this is the second stop - quick ride)

From Midway Airport: Take the Orange Line to Clark/Lake and transfer to the Blue Line to O'Hare exit at Cumberland (you will get to see the whole city on this trip)
